About Susan Grodensky
Susan Grodensky, Dpl.Ac.Lac. Graduated from Santa Barbara Oriental Medicine College in 1998 and has been practicing acupuncture in New York. She also acquired her Master’s in Psychology in 1993 and worked at Verdugo Mental Health in Glendale, Ca. Her original plan was to get her doctorate in Psychology but she had an experience that changed her life’s course. She had to be rushed to the hospital with 104 temperatures. She found out that she had a urinary tract infection that went straight to her Kidney. She was put on antibiotics and sent home after a whole night at UCLA medical center. The incident repeated two months later and she was afraid it would happen again. She began seeing a homeopath and an acupuncturist in Santa Monica, Ca. She became fascinated with acupuncture and herbs, and decided to study Oriental Medicine and become an acupuncturist.
She has a five year old son who suffered greatly with ear infections. He was put on antibiotics four times in a two month period. She received a flyer from one of her herb companies that was titled “Children who have Chronic Ear Infections”. She put her child on herbs and her son never experienced another ear infection again.
Her dog contracted Parvo as a puppy. Parvo is a deadly dog virus in which dogs die within 48 hours from vomiting and dysentery. She was in her second year of acupuncture school and she ran down to Chinatown in LA, Ca., and found herbs to stop vomiting and stop dysentery. The dog lived and was able to stay at home while the virus ran its course. Most dogs have to be hospitalized and die of the deadly virus.
Oriental Medicine is a wonderful alternative when Western Medicine does not address your issues. It treats almost everything. Ms. Grodensky has treated people with Hepatitis B & C, Pain Management, Menopause, Infertility, Colds & Flu, Allergies, Migraine Headaches, PMS, Impotence, Sleep Apnea, Insomnia, and Weight Control.
